Exhaust Gas Boiler (EGB)
Basic Information
Engine Exhaust Gas Heat Recovery Boiler
Steam Capacity: 0.4 to 10.0 Ton/hDesign Pressure: Up to 17.0 barg
Fuel: Exhaust Gas from the engine
The Exhaust Gas Boiler (EGB) generates steam from the heat of the
exhaust of the fuel engine, exhaust gases from the engine go through the EGB
before release into the environment. The EGB has the exhaust gas inlet on one
side and the water inlet on the opposite. There are different zones, each
having multiple passes for the water, and due to the heat exchange from the hot
exhaust gases to the water, in the end, water transforms into steam.
- Environmentally friendly generation of steam from available waste heat
- Improve overall plant efficiency by maximizing exhaust gas heat
recovery.
- Integrated design with up to 6 engines, minimum footprint, and easiest
installation.
- Reduced emission and fuel consumption of steam generation plant.
- The payback time of exhaust gas boiler plants is short, often a couple of months rather than years.
- Versatile design for use with exhaust from various types of fuel engines.
